Bodegas Fuentenarro (4 months in oak barrel), 2013

Medium garnet, with shades of violet. Lovely stained slow moving legs and tears. Its nose is clean with good aromatic intensity, fresh red and black fruits predominate; redcurrant, blueberry, and plum. Traces of ripe peach and rose petals, truffle, and coffee with some vanilla and freshly grated coconut to add further complexity. The mouth has a creamy mix of redcurrant, blueberry, plums and ripe peach to fill the palate. A medium bodied wine, with sweet ripe tannins, well structured, showing great potential. Excellent length, with a nose that reminds one of the fruity palates.

Bodegas Fuentenarro (12 months in oak barrel), 2011

Deep garnet, with a ruby rim and shades of purple. Large thick transparent legs with big clear tears. Its nose is clean with pronounced aromatic intensity, fresh black fruits in abundance, some floral notes; red roses, native shrubs, thyme, and rosemary. Also appearing are; fig, mandarin, biscuit and black olive adding complexity to what is a very broad-spectrum of aromas. The mouth is a full bodied wine, with pronounced fruit intensity, the acidity providing an elegant freshness that combines with the soft ripe tannins, adding delightful power to the palate.

Yaffo Winery, Red Dry Wine, 2013

Old and new; young and wild; soft with presence; delightful yet not pretentious. A wine of contradictions. The Sauvage series reflects our winemaking philosophy: old and new; young and wild; soft with presence; delightful yet not pretentious. A wine of contradictions. A refreshing blend of different varieties that make a quality, medium-bodied wine. Aromas reminiscent of herbs are accompanied by hints of coffee and mocha.

Yaffo Winery, Hommage Syrah-Merlot, 2014

Deep, dark and concentrated, with soft, lightly dusty tannins and notes of cedarwood. Full-bodied and aromatic, opening in the glass to show generous purple plums and a note of leather that lingers nicely on to the long finish.

Yaffo Winery, Hommage Cabernet Sauvignon, 2014

Medium- to full-bodied, dark garnet with purple and orange reflections, with soft tannins and gentle wood integrating nicely. Opens in the glass to reveal traditional Cabernet blackberry, blackcurrant, and spicy notes. Lingers nicely.

Yaffo Winery, Heritage, 2013

A rich wine with a hint of spices, cinnamon and black fruits and a generous, round finish that lingers. The grapes are hand-picked in a night harvest from the sole vineyard owned by the Winery in the Ella Valley. The wine is then aged in oak casks for 24 months.

Colli Vincenti, Veneto Colli Argento, Pinot Grigio, 2015

Has notes of pear, melon, and green apple on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with crisp acidity, this white will pair well with various seafood entrees.

Vitkin, White Israeli Journey, 2015

The resulting wine is an aromatic, fresh and complex dry white wine. Its first-year characteristics are citrusy-grassy freshness and a little floral. Later the Viognier, yellow/white fruit (peach-nectarine, apricot), tangerine and melon, flowers and honey aromas are to be expected. The Viognier contributes its rich, ripe yellow fruit structure, the Colombard gives the citrus freshness and the Gewürztraminer the exotic floral touch.

Vitkin, Petite Sirah, 2009

The wine already displays a deep purple-black color, generous, pleasant and outstanding “sweet” blue fruit (blueberry) aromas, sweet spices, and a flowery complexity. In taste, it is a very closed structure because of its young age but thereafter, with suitable airing reveals a full combination of very concentrated tastes of blue-black fruit, a “meaty” character, full thick body with an excellent balance between the ripeness of fruit, structure, and freshness. The extension is very long with sharp and complex tastes.

Piera Martellozzo, Moscato, IGT Puglia

Bright golden yellow, a fine and delicate perlage. Notes of exotic fruits and orange zest, peach and apricot. Sweet with subtle aromatic aromas of citrus fruit; the aromatic aftertaste recalls the flavor of the Moscato grape, with pleasant freshness.

Cellers Triada, Merlot, 2007

Color dark red with a little rust-red in the surface border. Smell: plum integrated with varietal herbaceous aromas of Prokupac and oak in the background. Medium to full body. In the mouth expressed extract, very soft. Taste to plum, blackberry, pepper, discreet oak barrel and leather. Good rounded tannin. Medium finish, velvety, with mild acids, very pleasant.
